· The Ranch at Brushy Creek Backyard

Greenbelt Lots, Limestone Ground, Backyards Worth Finishing.

The Ranch at Brushy Creek is one of Cedar Park's signature master-planned neighborhoods — built out between 2005 and 2022 by CalAtlantic, David Weekley, Drees, Lennar, Scott Felder, Sitterle, Taylor Morrison, and Village Builders. Lots run from roughly a tenth of an acre to just under half an acre, homes average around 3,350 square feet across a range of about 1,800 to 6,000, and a good number of them back straight onto the Brushy Creek greenbelt and the Williamson County Regional Trail.

We've built across Cedar Park since 2018, and the first thing that shapes a job here is what's under the grass. Cedar Park sits on weathered Edwards limestone beneath a shallow clay cap, so digging in this neighborhood is not the same work as digging east of I-35. Pergola post holes, covered-patio footings, and drain trenches routinely hit rock — which has to be equipped for and priced up front, not discovered on day two.

The greenbelt-backing lots are the best in the neighborhood and the most technical. They tend to fall away toward the creek, so a level, genuinely usable outdoor room usually starts with a retaining wall or a set of terraces and a drainage plan that carries runoff out to the greenbelt instead of across your new patio. Either way, you work with one team from first sketch to final walkthrough — no subcontractor handed the job halfway through.

· Why CTX

Why The Ranch at Brushy Creek Homeowners Choose CTX.

Limestone-Ready Excavation

Cedar Park's shallow soil sits on weathered Edwards limestone. We arrive with the equipment to cut footings, post holes, and drain trenches through rock — and we price that before we start, not after.

Grade Handled, Not Ignored

Ranch at Brushy Creek's greenbelt lots fall toward the creek. We build retaining walls and terraces that turn that slope into a level outdoor room instead of a place you never quite use.

Runoff Routed to the Greenbelt

Thin soil over rock sheds water fast. We grade and drain so storm runoff heads for the greenbelt and the street, not toward your slab and foundation.

Design-Build Since 2018

Hundreds of Central Texas outdoor spaces designed and installed — one local team, one point of contact, start to finish.

Yes — throughout the neighborhood, from the greenbelt-backing streets along the Williamson County Regional Trail to the interior lots and cul-de-sacs, across both the Leander ISD and Round Rock ISD sections. Call 512.316.4107 to confirm your street.
Often, yes. Cedar Park's shallow soil sits over weathered Edwards limestone, so pergola posts, patio footings, and drain trenches frequently go through rock. We bring the equipment for it and account for rock in the quote up front — it's a known condition here, not a surprise change order.
That's some of our favorite work here. A falling lot becomes a retaining wall and one or two terraces, which gives you a genuinely level outdoor room plus a defined lower yard — and we pair it with drainage that carries runoff to the greenbelt instead of letting it sheet across the new patio.
Yes, and it's most of what we do in this neighborhood. The original slabs here are usually small uncovered rectangles that don't match houses averaging 3,350 square feet. We extend the footprint, build a proper base, cover it, and add the kitchen, lighting, and finishes the builder never included.
